One Punch Man Season 2 Could Be Around the Corner, Is Saitama about to Face Trouble? Let’s See

While we still don’t know exactly when the next season of “One Punch Man” will be ready, rumors indicate that it could be almost here, and might be announced very soon. This obviously got some fans excited, but of course everyone should keep in mind that rumors are to be taken with a grain of salt, and this may very well turn out to be false.

In any case, we’ve also seen some interesting claims about the storyline of the new season, and it sounds like some dramatic developments are planned right for the first episodes, kicking things off with a bang. Saitama in particular could face some challenging moments, as he might find himself powerless for some time.

It wasn’t made clear exactly what the hero will have to suffer, but the final result will apparently be that he will not only lack any of his original powers, but will also have to face against various former opponents in his new state. This will put the character on the run, and the new season could show him in quite the different light.

This doesn’t have to be a bad development though, as it may be a perfect opportunity to show some of the more cunning aspects of Saitama’s personality. Fans have already seen him thinking on his feet quite well in some situations, but this could be the true test of his skills that the hero needs to solidify his reputation among viewers.

Meanwhile, Boros has been climbing in power, making the situation even more difficult for Saitama. Once he inevitably manages to take down his foe though, this will no doubt make the victory even sweeter for the hero, given how the odds will be stacked against him.

Saitama’s fans should be on the lookout for even more trouble on the horizon for the hero, as it sounds like the new season will be packed full of difficult moments for him. Even Genos might become a nuisance for Saitama, and the character might need to forge some new alliances to make it through his difficult times.

Last but not least, there are some talks of a new antagonist joining the show, but we don’t know much about his character yet. There are various rumors about his exact involvement with the story so far and with Saitama himself, but it looks like fans will have to wait for the actual airing of the season to find out the truth.

There are simply far too many conflicting reports right now, and it looks like some fans have gotten quite excited speculating about the new villain, making it even more difficult to filter all the information going around. In the end, this could be exactly what the producers of the show want though.

The air date of season 2 is not yet known, but as we pointed out above, there are multiple rumors indicating that the show could be ready soon. If we don’t see any announcement in the next one or two weeks, we can probably assume that this rumor was false.

What would that mean for the other recent claims about the show? Nobody can tell for sure, but we certainly wouldn’t expect the producers to come out and address any of that themselves. It wouldn’t make much sense to spoil the plot, especially with regards to Saitama’s character development, and they can actually benefit somewhat from having so many of their fans arguing about future developments right now.
