It’s no secret that Nicki Minaj’s fanbase has a very large volume of men, and the singer has built her image to a large extent on her attractive appearance. Of course, she still delivers high quality music on a consistent basis, but she definitely also knows how to attract lovers of true beauty among her fans. And it seems that she has fans in all age groups, not just among teenagers and upwards, as was recently evidenced by her interaction with a very young fan in front of a camera.
During Minaj’s concert at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, she decided to call one of her fans on the stage, a 12-year-old boy called Donnie, who was immediately brought to tears and became very emotional over the fact that he was on the same stage as his favorite singer. He said that he had been dreaming of that moment for a long time and then broke down in tears.
Minaj, upon seeing that, decided to pull him in for a tight hug, in which she placed his head directly on her chest. And, as could be seen on the camera, the boy immediately noticed what was going on and his face lit up with excitement. The hug lasted for a few seconds, with Donnie’s smile growing wider and wider all the time.
And while a few were claiming that Minaj made a mistake and didn’t realize what was going on, the singer apparently knew exactly what she was doing, as she later posted a funny comment on Instagram, joking that her breasts have healing powers and thanking her Belfast fans for the good night.
She was apparently perfectly happy with the way things turned out as well, as her Instagram post also advised people to “get your life from the little boy in this video”. We can only wonder what could be going through little Donnie’s head right now, as the young boy got to live out the dream of many people, including ones much older than him.
His moment briefly became an Internet sensation, shared all over the Web on various websites like Twitter, Instagram and reddit, where everyone was seemingly happy for little Donnie. It’s hard to imagine the kind of success he would see with his peers at school now, although considering the kind of confidence he displayed on the stage, he probably does already have strong support among his peers. In any case, Donnie’s first day at school following the eventful night at the concert must have been an exciting, once in a lifetime experience. It just goes to show how much celebrities can change people’s lives with small, simple acts.
