Trust the showrunners of the American fairy tale drama TV series “Once Upon a Time” to twist the fairy tale stories as children and the young once know it, but the Season 6 of the hit show shall actually see Cinderella causing trouble in the relationship of Snow White and Prince Charming.
Such plot never happened before in the fairy tales because there is no connection between Cinderella and Snow White, aside from the fact that they are both princesses.
But in Season 6 of “Once Upon a Time,” the connection between Snow White, played by Ginnifer Goodwin, and Cinderella, played by Jesse Schram, shall be unveiled.
Cinderella in the TV series is just a guest character so her appearance is short-lived. In fact, the reports are saying that she would come out only in the third episode of “Once Upon a Time” Season 6.
In addition to Cinderella getting in the way of couple Snow and Charming, Regina, played by Lana Parilla, shall also come back to haunt the pair, which was consistent with the plan that the Evil Queen hatched a long time ago but shall be effected in Storybrooke in the upcoming sixth season, details the Christian Post.
It was actually showrunner Adam Horowitz who confirmed the diabolical plot of Regina in the next season.
Apart from Cinderella and Regina, there will also be additional characters from the Land of Untold Stories who shall make the peaceful life of the Charmings and other characters of Storybrooke more complicated than usual.
Aladdin coming to Storybrooke
There are also reports going around that Aladdin shall be introduced in Storybrooke in the upcoming sixth season. Morpheus, to be played by Giles Matthey, shall also be appearing in the show as the Greek god of dreams. Dr. Archie will likewise come back to the show.
Accordingly, “Once Upon a Time” will get more colorful as there shall be plenty of twists in the story and adjustments to be made on the characters and viewers would know it once the show returns to ABC on September 25.
There is also Henry Mills, to be played by Jared Gilmore, who shall be dealing with three mothers instead of one and he might not be able to handle it because he is already dealing with different personalities himself.
There will also be new characters that will come to the Season 6 of “Once Upon a Time” including Don Quixote, Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde, Lemuel Gulliver, and the three Musketeers.
The TV series is also expected to feature stories from “The Brothers Grimm,” “The Water-Babies,” “Knight of the Holy Grail,” Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea,” among a few others.
Because of the influx of many characters, the peace in Storybrooke shall be broken especially with the presence of the Evil Queen and Mr. Hyde.
Focusing on the backstory of Belle
During the Season 5 of “Once Upon a Time,” Belle, played by Emilie de Ravin, has been trapped in Pandora’s box under a sleeping curse. To even make matters worse, she is also pregnant.
The actress confirmed during the recent San Diego ComicCon that Season 6 of “Once Upon a Time” will be getting more information and story on Belle’s family when the show returns, notes Chatt Sports Net.
De Ravin said that Belle will come out of the box and she will be back in Storybrooke. She said that fans would learn more about Belle and her family in the process because her backstory would be featured in Season 6 of “Once Upon a Time.”
Showrunners Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis also confirmed during the San Diego ComicCon that Belle will be reentering the world of Storybrooke in the upcoming sixth season of “Once Upon a Time.”
Horowitz says that as soon as the premiere episode of Season 6 airs on ABC, the show will be digging into Belle’s story. He also confirmed that Belle would no longer be trapped for long.
