During the Season 5 of the American fairy tale drama TV series “Once Upon a Time,” Belle, played by Emilie de Ravin, has been trapped in Pandora’s box under a sleeping curse. To even make matters worse, she is also pregnant.
The actress confirmed during the recent San Diego ComicCon that Season 6 of “Once Upon a Time” will be getting more information and story on Belle’s family when the show returns, reports Zap2it.
De Ravin said that Belle will come out of the box and she will be back in Storybrooke. She said that fans would learn more about Belle and her family in the process because her backstory would be featured in Season 6 of “Once Upon a Time.”
Showrunners Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis also confirmed during the San Diego ComicCon that Belle will be reentering the world of Storybrooke in the upcoming sixth season of “Once Upon a Time.”
Horowitz says that as soon as the premiere episode of Season 6 airs on ABC, the show will be digging into Belle’s story. He also confirmed that Belle would no longer be trapped for long.
The parents of Belle were featured during the Season 4 of “Once Upon a Time.” Her father was not exactly an outstanding parent while her mother tragically died during an ogre attack.
It is possible that her relationship with Rumplestiltskin, played by Robert Carlyle, would also be highlighted in the upcoming sixth season and fans are hoping that they would be able to fix their relationship before Belle gives birth to her child whose father is the Dark One, the dark alter ego of Rumplestiltskin.
ABC shows on Netflix
“Once Upon a Time” Season 6 will be premiering on ABC on September 25. Indicative of how popular the TV series is, each Season 6 episode will also be streamed on the streaming service Netflix one week after it airs on ABC.
In addition to “Once Upon a Time,” some ABC shows have been added to Netflix 30 days after the season finale on the network including “Scandal,” “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD,” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”
“Once Upon a Time” has already been renewed for a seventh season and there is even an indication that it will be back for another season on both ABC and Netflix, reports Netflix Life.
The TV series ranks as part of the 50 best TV shows on Netflix and the 50 best TV dramas on the streaming service .
More than just murder
Meanwhile, the Evil Queen, played by Lara Parilla, shall also be featured in the upcoming Season 6 of “Once Upon a Time” because the fairy tale villain has more on her mind than just murder.
During Season 5 of “Once Upon a Time,” Regina Mills decided to fully separate herself from her evil alter ego.
However, something went wrong and the villain managed to survive. Instead of Regina and the Evil Queen being part of each other, they became two completely separate people, notes the Inquisitr.
The Evil Queen shall no longer have Regina’s morality to hold her back from doing horrible things. She is determined to wreak havoc on Storybrooke and fans of the TV series should wonder if a major character will die in Season 6.
Hook, played by Colin O’Donoghue, and Emma, played by Jennifer Morrison, are also expected to have a stronger relationship although there won’t be any fairy tale wedding happening in Season 6.
But during the San Diego ComicCon, O’Donoghue disclosed that the wedding dress seen in Season 5 was not a clue. He added, however, that he believe that the bridal dress was just a prop.
Reports also have it that new characters are coming to Storybrooke. Expect to see Sinbad, Scheherazade, the Count of Monte Cristo, to be played by Craig Horner, Morpheus, to be played by Giles Matthey, Jafar, to be played by Oded Fehr, Aladdin, to be played by Deniz Akdeniz, Jasmine, played by Karen David, and more.
