Many of these characters are coming back from before, but there will apparently be new entries to the story as well. And while Emma will undergo some changes to her personality, she will still have her role as a savior in the story just like before. It’s possible that the rumored changes will only be valid in the beginning of her stay in the Underworld, as the lore of the show says that characters entering the place tend to experience some temporary difficulties. But in the long run, things should even out.
Could Emma meet other characters worth noting during her trip through the Underworld too? There have been some rumors about that from time to time, and fans certainly love to speculate about the possibility, but it’s hard to say what the writers could be planning. Neal might show up again, and there are also some vague claims by the producers about moments when the characters are going to face their “past and present”, according to reports.
