Hell apparently is waiting for the characters of ABC’s “Once Upon A Time” when it returns for the second half of its fifth season just two months away.
Lana Parrilla, who plays former villain Regina Mills, spoke to Entertainment Online and spilled some details on the show’s return to the small screen.
The actress says that the next destination will reintroduce viewers to a lot of old characters and open up new exciting storylines.
The Underworld is going to be introduced during the second half of the season as Emma needs to travel there in order to save Colin O’Donoghue’s Hook soul.
Some characters who are expected to return are Greg Germann, who will be portraying Hades, the Lord of the Underworld.
Cora, played by Barbara Hershey and Peter Pan, played by Robin Kay, along with Giancarlo Esposito’s Sidney Glass and Emma Caulfield’ the Blind Witch are also expected to make their comebacks.
Movie News Guide reports that fans will be seeing Prince Henry, played by Tony Perez, and Victoria Smurfit’s Cruella de Vil when Season 5 resumes.
These characters have already met their demise during the past seasons of “Once Upon a Time,” but since the show is heading to the world of the dead, it’s kind of ideal that they make an appearance.
With old characters resurfacing, new faces will also be introduced. Fashion & Style reports that Jonathan Whitesell and Kacey Rohl has been cast as Hercules and Megara, respectively.
During the interview, Parrilla also recognized how the movie industry is struggling with racial diversity but is happy that TV has taken steps and opened doors for minorities.

As per Melty, when the show returns, it will have some sort of a weird reunion as Regina will come face-to-face with her mother and Jennifer Morrison’s Emma will be together again with her beloved.
The website also hinted a possible reunion with Rumplestiltskin and his dearly departed son.
Showrunners also reveal that Emma’s role as the Savior is only just the beginning. Also, Ms. Swan’s travel to the Underworld spells an impending trouble in the form of Milah.
Milah, played by Rachel Shelly, was both the former lover of Hook and Rumplestiltskin. She and Rump even share a son.
The character did not have ample screen time over the past five seasons, but she is undeniably an integral part of the tragic tale of Hook.
In an interview with TV Line, showrunners Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis played coy when asked if Milah will return this season and what will her role be in the forthcoming episodes.
Judging by their answers, if ever Milah will return, viewers can expect that there will be a lot of awkwardness between her and Emma.
Horowitz says that it will actually be a great thing to look forward to and discover how Milah is connected to all these characters.
Fans are actually waiting for this meeting to happen especially on how Ms. Swan will react when she finds out that her one true love was actually married a few centuries ago.
Meanwhile, Horowitz also teased on his Twitter page that titles of the upcoming episodes. “Once Upon A Time” will return on March 6 with its 12th episode entitled “Souls of the Departed.”
Last month, series co-creator Kitsis reveals that season 5B’s premiere episode is something really special for everyone as it will be the fantasy drama’s 100th episode.
Kitsis also labels the upcoming episode as the honor of the show’s milestone in TV. Hence, the special comeback of a few beloved characters.
