‘Once Upon a Time’ Season 5 Episode 16 to See the Newest Villain of the Underworld

The upcoming episode of ABC’s “Once Upon A Time” will definitely be a jam-packed hour. The episode, entitled “Our Decay” will welcome Sam Witwer as the newest villain of the Underworld

The 38-year-old actor will be playing the role of Jacob, an evil mental hospital warden in the Underworld who finds enjoyment in torturing his troubled and helpless patients.

Witwer’s character has been revealed to be the main antagonist for the second half of Season 5 of “Once Upon a Time. Jacob will make his debut in the April 3 episode.

The network has already released the synopsis for episode 16 and it reveals Emma, Snow, David, Regina, Robin, Henry, and Hook searching for a way to free everyone from the Underworld.

Gold also creates a portal to Storybrooke, which transports them to the Underworld.

Belle is reunited with Rumple while Snow and David attempt to send a message from the Underworld to their son, Neal. Hades also learns about Zelena’s special spell and pays her a visit.

It looks like there’s going to be a lot of baby drama in the upcoming episode of the fantasy drama especially with Robert Carlyle’s Rumple’s endeavor to reunite with his expectant wife.

It will also be a struggle for David and Snow, played by Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin, respectively. to reach out to Neal whom they left back home in Storybrooke before joining daughter Emma on her perilous journey.

Speaking to TV Line, Dallas admits that it wasn’t the best parenting choice for Snow and David to leave their first-born behind.

The 37-year-old actor adds that abandoning the tyke for an indeterminate amount of time understandably drudges up the Charmings’ experiences with their first-born, whom they transported safely via an enchanted wardrobe before the Evil Queen’s dark curse consumed the Enchanted Forest.

Series co-creator Adam Horowitz says that Snow and David’s Underworld will really lead to an emotional turmoil not just for the two of them, but also for Neal.

Elsewhere in the next episode, Rebecca Mader’s Zelena and Lana Parilla’s Regina get into a sibling squabble. In flashbacks, Greg Germann’s Hades pays Zelena a visit in Oz with an intention of striking an alliance with her, only to find himself with more than a partner in crime.

Cartermatt reports that fans will continue to experience the torment of Hades. After the news of Emilie de Ravin’s pregnancy, speculations are very persistent that it’s the Lord of the Underworld who will be responsible for taking away Belle and Rumple’s baby.

The reason could be Rumple’s actions to deceive Hades in the past and the latter is doing this as some sort of payback. Nevertheless, if Hades does try to take away his baby, fans can expect the two to go head to head once again.

Reports say that the baby will be a huge factor in Belle and Rumple’s relationship. The child could be Rumple’s turning point in changing his ways from being the dark one again.

In episode 15, entitled “The Brothers Jones,” Collin O Donoghue‘s Hook was reunited with Liam and join the others in finding the Underworld version of the “Once Upon a Time” book, only to be blackmailed by Hades.

Apparently, Hades wants the pages of the book containing him to be removed. It was revealed that the pages Hades wants to be gone had something to do with Zelena.

Emma also caught up on Liam’s deception and Hook also finds out the truth after Captain Silver and his crew revealed what Liam did in the past.

In a flashback scene, it was revealed that Liam promised that he and Killian will find a way to get out of Captain Silver’s servitude only to give Hades in exchange for selling out the souls of the entire crew during a dangerous voyage.
