Ahead of the filming of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta there seems to be a big drama happening outside the set. The couple stars, Benzino and Althea, are reported not to be appearing in the fourth season. Both are having some issues with the contract negotiations.
It is said Althea is looking for paid cast member but co-stars Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez are alleged to have influenced co-executive producer Mona Scott Young to keep her away. Meanwhile, it is also alleged Benzino has begged for Stevie’s help.
In season 3 Althea appeared as an unpaid guest as she is Benzino’s fiancee. For the fourth season the executives feel demand to make her paid guest is not a good idea.
In the season 3 reunion show fans saw some brawling between Benzino and Stevie, and hence it is true the two are having a bad blood.
However, Benzino seems not happy with what is being said for him and Stevie. He took to Twitter recently and wrote: ‘Who the [expletive] begged?… ILL make you beg me not to sue weirdos.’
If believed to Urban Belle, there was one more message posted by Benzino and this time it was on Instagram. However, immediately after publishing the post was deleted. In it he said something is going wrong and this is causing the co-executive producer to hesitate in keeping him and his fiancée Althea in the upcoming fourth season of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta.
Benzino added further that he has given all the sweat, tears and real blood for the success of the show and he is also looking ahead to be part of it in the upcoming season, but alliances seems to have formed against them to keep them away of it.
Meanwhile, official of the show said no final word has yet been given about the status of Benzino and Althea in the upcoming franchise.
Another rumor states Stevie J and Joseline too had a controversy little earlier but for a different reason. In an interview at the V100.7 radio station Stevie said his wife is pregnant, but later information from a close source revealed she is not. The source also added that Mona Scott Young wanted to make the hip hop artist and his wife relevant in the show and so tried keeping pregnancy angle too in it.
Until now neither Stevie nor Joseline has commented publicly on the issue whether the pregnancy rumor was a fake.
Production of the fourth season has started earlier this month, but there is no news yet about the release date or release month.
