It looks like “Ocean’s 8” is going to have an extensive cast of celebrities, and we’ve recently seen some exciting announcements about new additions. Richard Armitage of “The Hobbit” fame is among the most recently confirmed celebrities to take part in the new production, and there have been talks about a cameo appearance by Kim Kardashian as well.
However, Kardashian’s role is a bit disputed, as some sources are in conflict regarding whether she’ll be the specific Kardashian to take part in the production, or if fans are going to see another member of the famous family. In any case, it’s very likely that there will be some minor appearances by familiar faces in the upcoming “Ocean’s 8”.
Fans were already excited enough to learn that they’ll get another chance to see Sandra Bullock performing, and that announcement alone has generated a lot of hype about the film in many communities. It’ll be interesting to see how well Bullock maintains her appearance on the screen, and many of her fans expect to see something special from this role.
Another exciting recent announcement has been about James Corden, host of “The Late Late Night Show”. However, Corden will not be one of the main members of the gang, but will rather play opposite them, taking on the role of someone who will suspect the thieves of their shady dealings.
In fact, Corden’s character might be one of the main problems the gang of thieves will have to face, even though his role doesn’t paint him in a particularly scary light. Still, we’re perfectly aware that we should expect pretty much anything from the producers of “Ocean’s 8”, and it’s very likely that there will be some surprises in the new film.
Many fans of the previous films from the series were hopeful to see another great performance by George Clooney, but it doesn’t look like this is going to happen, unfortunately. There have been some minor rumors about the possibility of Clooney reprising his role in a minor cameo, but even this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
On the other hand, Matt Damon’s return is official, although there are claims that fans are going to see him in a significantly different light from what they remember. His character will apparently go through some serious changes, more than most others, but it’s not clear if those changes will be positive or negative ones.
We certainly hope to see a more evolved and mysterious version of Linus, as he’s one of the characters with the strongest potential for interesting developments. Of course, it’s also important that the producers explore some new characters and push the series forward sufficiently, but there’s no reason to doubt that they’re going to do that in the new film.
So far, pretty much every installment in the “Ocean’s” series has been fantastic and has driven more and more viewers to the screen, so we have every reason to expect even more great things from “Ocean’s 8”. Some fans are seemingly a bit worried about the possibility of the franchise getting milked, but it doesn’t really look like the producers are trying to exploit their fame so far.
There is a lot of time left before the film arrives to the screen, so we expect to see more exciting developments announced from behind the scenes. There’s been a lot of attention on the cast of “Ocean’s 8” and the changes that could be made to the character line-up, but it’s worth remembering that there are many more areas that the producers can touch with interesting changes.
