“No Man’s Sky” will absolutely be mind-blowing and visually breathtaking that when the adventure exploration survival video game comes out in the PlayStation 4 and the PC this coming June, it is expected to captivate millions of gamers and people when they lay their eyes on the game.
Developer Hello Games and publisher Sony Computer Entertainment have already confirmed the rollout of “No Man’s Sky” to the PlayStation 4 and PC in June.
In fact, the game is now available for pre-order through Amazon and comes with a retail price of $59.99.
Sean Murray, managing director of Hello Games, states that “No Man’s Sky” is going to be the game of every video gamer’s dreams because almost anything is possible and all kinds of exploration negotiable in the game.
Contrary to rumors that the game shall also come to Xbox One, the chances of “No Man’s Sky” coming to the Microsoft gaming console are very slim because it is a Sony PlayStation 4 exclusive title. It would not have Sony for its publisher if the game will also come out on the Xbox One, notes the Christian Post.
18 quintillion worlds
“No Man’s Sky” also features different worlds approximately numbering 18 quintillion planets. It’s actually a mind-boggling number of unique planets that players can explore in the game. This also means that one player can explore different planets every time he plays the game without making any repeat visits and he would still not finish it all in his lifetime.
The good news is that gamers just need only one second to be able to visit these planets. However, according to Sean Murray, a gamer would need to spend 585 billion years to visit all the planets so it is just impossible to visit all worlds in one lifetime.
The number of planets is practically infinite so much that the game has been called as open universe by some gaming critics.
While exploring a planet, players also need to remember that abusing wildlife and overexploiting its resources are considered culpable offenses because in “No Man’s Sky,” players take on the role of an intergalactic merchant, a pirate, and more, and live with or against organized authorities and various factions, details Moviepilot.
That is actually the first major leak about the game’s plotline, which have not been made available by Hello Games through official channels in the past.
Immense number of worlds
“No Man’s Sky” is an open universe and it features an infinitely expanding galaxy of procedurally generated planets where players can fly seamlessly from the surface of a planet to another. Every star in the sky is also a sun that players can visit.
Because of its immense number of worlds, the game encountered some complex issues that prompted the developer to delay the release of “No Man’s Sky” leaving fans and gamers unhappy.
“No Man’s Sky’s” huge expanse provides an area for players to explore and even discover whole systems and the planets in it, as well as refine their meager resources.
A whole new look in virtual gameplay
Developer Hello Games promises not only virtual gameplay in a whole new look but also exploration to the highest level that no player has ever come across.
The development team has come up with a world-building template that gave them the power to generate different versions of mountain slopes, space crafts, dinosaur-looking creatures, plants, and other rangers that are waiting to be explored.
However, some critics are saying that “No Man’s Sky” may be offering too much content, which is sometimes a bad idea in terms of exploration since not all players like a world with almost no end.
As a PlayStation 4 exclusive, the touch of Sony on “No Man’s Sky” is very obvious. That is why the Japanese gaming company included the upcoming video game in its latest PlayStation Experience promo.
