Gara went on to say that “No Man’s Sky” had been treated as if it came from one of their internal studios. He adds that they had been working very closely with Hello Games and brought it to their release programs as they had made it as well.
The game was really a brainchild of Murray and the game was purely worked on by Hello Games staff. Sony entered the picture to provide promotional support but Hello Games declined any developmental support from the tech giant.
In an interview with IGN last April, Murray said that he was open to the possibility of the game being played through the VR technology citing that “No Man’s Sky” would be a good fit for it.
As per Game Rant, the game won’t be coming to the Xbox One despite Microsoft reportedly eager to have it in their library. The game is also not yet listed on Steam for PC players.
Parent Herald notes that players getting the game via the PlayStation store should expect it to be pre-loaded with a countdown clock reminding them of the time the game will be live for download. According to the game’s official website, pre-orders will be available starting on June 21.
Incorrect, I pre-ordered the game on Steam over a month ago. It is definitely available on Steam for PC.
