‘No Man’s Sky’ Player Count Down by 90% Just 2 Weeks After the Game’s Launch!

Meanwhile, the latest update for the game is now in testing and scheduled to be released this week, Videogamer reports.
Hello Games has announced that update 1.06 will mean that 90% of crash issues reported during its launch are already resolved.

They said that the latest patch is already in final testing and will be released sometime next week. The studio released two more patches prior to this.

Patch 1.04 fixed 75% of the crash for PS4 and was released last Friday while patch 1.05 fixes 87% of crash issues for PS4 and was released last Sunday.

Through its Twitter account, the game development company said that whenever the game crashes on PS4, it sends a crash dump to them. Since the game came out, they were able to categorize and fix these crashes in order of priority.

They said that the crash dump has been incredibly useful to them because it allows them to know how many are affected at the same time. They also said that it gives them a real-time monitoring of how to improve the game

Hello Games promised they won’t stop until all the crash issues are fixed, although it isn’t known how long will it take. They also thanked everyone who has purchased the game and played it.
