Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls is the first expansion pack for Diablo 3, one of most popular MMORPGs in the world. This expansion pack was first revealed in 2013. On March 25th this year, it was launched for the PC and on the Mac platforms. Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls expansion pack will be further ported to all the old-generation and next-generation consoles.
It is a part of the Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and the PS4. Through this update, the game was expanded to a massive extent for the older generation consoles and also released for the next-gen hardware. Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls: Ultimate Evil Edition received its first important update on the PlayStation 4.
There are many different features that are included in the Patch 2.1.0 update. New features like the ‘What’s New’ screen has been included. It provides a basic review of all the features included in this particular update.
The inclusions of Treasure Goblins along with ‘The Vault’ are major features released with the Reaper of Souls Expansion Pack. New Portals like the vault will feature treasures along with the bosses.
In other news, we suspected that Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls would be excluded from the titles revealed this year. Our expectations have come true as BlizzCon did not feature any news regarding this expansion pack. Blizzard has been sending many emails to the press regarding the major events to look out for, in BlizzCon. We are now aware that Diablo 3 will not be the center of attraction at BlizzCon 2014. Instead, the primary panels will be more focused on Starcraft 2, Heroes of the Storm and the Warcraft movie.
Starcraft 2 received some audio teasers this week. As a result, the entire focus is on Starcraft 2 and this was totally expected. The filming is now complete, and Blizzard currently has more to show. In this year, BlizzCon will only feature a couple of panels for Diablo 3. This includes a ‘What’s Next’ with the Reaper of Souls developers and a panel on ‘Evolving the Reaper of Souls’.
Recently, many major updates have released for Diablo 3. However, we are quite sure that with these updates, Diablo 3 is in a much better position than it was at launch. However, gamers were expecting another major announcement for Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. A lot of dedicated websites will be heading over to the BlizzCon event in order to gather as much information possible showcased on the major panels.
