Ever since Nintendo spoke about Wii U, the whole game world is abuzz with news about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The official website of the game developers was last updated to include the all new weather system introduced in the new game. Along with the website update, Nintendo even uploaded a video to their YouTube channel.
The video gives an insight into the new weather system in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It shows Hyrule with the weather changes. Players witness the most pleasant weather and also experience massive storms. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild weather video shows lightning and thunder.
Nintendo had first given the players a glimpse of the upcoming weather system update at the 2016 E3.
Nintendo included The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in its Nintendo Switch trailer as well. Slash Gear reported that three new trailers of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wind was released. Each of the trailers has a singular focus. The first is an exploration overview of the game. The trailer introduces the prospective players to the environment of the game and how Link traverses the surrounding area.
The second trailer emphasizes on the gameplay features of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Players witness Link engaged in activities like chopping wood, snowboarding, and firing arrows. This isn’t all; the trailer also reveals Link’s cooking skills.
The combat skills are also displayed. Link uses a set of weapons to defeat his enemies, including a club that is aflame.
The third and final video focus solely on the weather system of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The players haven’t found the weather system impressive, but it is a big leap from the static weather system used in The Legend of Zelda games, previously.
The response to the trailer wasn’t quite favorable. The trailer reveals a distinctly cartoonish appearance and isn’t totally cel-shaded. Brian Ashcraft from Kotaku praises the look of the upcoming game and players couldn’t agree more with it.
Even though the trailer doesn’t feature the particular musical score worked on by the developers for the game, the track is similar to the stock track that Nintendo played during the first E3 2016 reveal. In spite of being the stock track, Nintendo has succeeded in creating a soundtrack that is perfect for the overall experience of the gameplay.
According to Tech Times, Nintendo will reveal The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with the Wii U and Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch is expected to hit the stores in March, after the Wii U release. Either the game will release first on Wii U and then for Nintendo Switch, or it could be available in both the versions at the same time.
While the players were excited to watch the new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch, they have found the footage repetitive. The same footage was shown for Wii U as well.
According to iDigital Times, the main reason for Nintendo repeating the footage might be because the other portions of the game aren’t ready for the showcase. The fans were initially tired of the lack of information on The Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They are now worried that they might be forced to see the same footage on numerous occasions.
