With all the hype around this console right now though, it looks like the company has a potential goldmine on their hands. This product could really take off if Nintendo handle its release correctly, and a major factor in that is the variety of launch titles.
The community has also been talking about the possibility of more easily releasing games on the console, similar to the Steam market, although it’s not quite certain that Nintendo could choose to go in that direction.
As we said above, the company is actually quite closed when it comes to letting new games be released on their consoles. This could easily change though, and they might decide to work in a new way after they bring the Switch to the market.
The console is coming in March 2017, so that gives Nintendo plenty of time to talk about their plans more openly. Hopefully the current quietness of the studio is due to a desire to stick to a very specific release plan that they’ve had in mind, and they are planning to say more around the end of the year.
The holiday season would actually be a great time for some teasers for the Nintendo Switch, and it will get many people excited to get their hands on the console as soon as it’s ready for the market. But in the end, we trust that Nintendo know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to promoting this console.
