Nintendo has already released the list of 30 video games that shall come with the NES Classic Edition upon its release in November. The company also said that it does not plan on selling any additional titles for the console and it cannot connect to the internet or external storage device to tap into games that way.
Going back to the Nintendo NX, reports since last year has indicated that the gaming platform shall have an x86 architecture, the Nintendo server data backup, support for a second screen, compatibility with ports of current generation games, smart device app interactivity, and some kind of involvement with the My Nintendo reward program, details C/Net.
There are also reports saying that the upcoming console shall have a new game controller which shall reportedly include buttons that could be assigned for specific purposes including adjusting for right- and left-handed players.
Accordingly, the Nintendo NX shall feature a screen controller that will support remote play of console-based games. It would not have processing capabilities but the remote will support basic OS functions to access the NX console from anywhere.
There are also speculations saying that instead of a remote play streaming back to the NX, the screen handheld actually has some aspects of the game transferred to it completely. The main gimmick of the NX is a controller with a display that shall enable gamers to play games remotely.
