Canadian rapper Drake threw a birthday bash for the ages when he turned 30 on October 23 but one A-list invitee did not show up and it is no other than Nicki Minaj.
Reports have it that Nicki would have wanted to come and join the epic birthday celebration of Drake at the Delilah in West Hollywood but she was worried about what her boyfriend Meek Mill would say.
In fact, the “Anaconda” singer thinks that Meek would be furious if she attends Drake’s birthday party, notes the Hollywood Life.
A source close to Nicki Minaj said that Meek gave an ultimatum to the “Super Bass” singer and even threatened to end their relationship if she goes. Nicki just does not want to deal with too much drama at home with Meek so she thought it best in foregoing her attendance to Drake’s birthday celebration.
Not the kind of woman to give ultimatum to
But Nicki is not the kind of woman who likes to be given ultimatum so she reportedly held her own on Meek.
However, in the end, she did not want to hurt Meek’s feelings and also does not want to disrespect her boyfriend by attempting to party with Drake, who likes to be a little touchy with her, so she opted not to go.
Instead, Nicki just sent Drake a sweet birthday wish and reports were saying that she said to Drake that she loves him, which could be a friendly message not the romantic kind. She also said that she looks forward to working with Drake again in the future, which would really be good for rapper and hip-hop fans.
Although Nicki Minaj was not around, Drake’s birthday celebration was full of A-listers including Taylor Swift, Karlie Kloss, John Mayer, Katy Perry, and many others.

As Minaj’s verse speeds up, Cox does not lose steam, mouthing along the rapid-fire lyrics and sneaking in a sly taunt to her opponent Wiley.
