Nicki Minaj has been in the news quite a bit lately over a new controversy related to her figure on display at a Madame Tussauds museum in Las Vegas. The particular figure has her in a very provocative pose, and people who’ve been taking pictures with her at the museum have regularly been taking the opportunity to pose in a sexually suggestive way, which has been described as rude by many members of the press, and even some of Minaj’s own fans.
But according to the singer, that’s absolutely no problem for her – she doesn’t seem to mind at all. Quite on the contrary, she seems flattered that people like her appearance so much to do that, and she seems to take it as a compliment more than anything else. It’s certainly admirable that she has such a positive attitude towards something that many have described as an obvious provocation.
It’s probably not a big surprise in the end anyway though, as Minaj has been known for her more outspoken and easygoing attitude towards life, and if there’s anyone that we would expect to have such an “I don’t care” response to something as scandalous as this, it’s exactly her.
In addition, she is also apparently quite fond of the figure herself, and she finds it appropriate for the kind of personality that she has been portraying in general. When one thinks about her performances and the themes of most of her songs, it’s probably not that strange at all that she has been fine with the situation to such an extent.
And of course, most of Minaj’s fans were quick to jump to express their admiration for the singer for having such a pleasant attitude towards the whole thing, and many people seem to believe that this is the kind of Minaj they all want to know and see. As for the small but vocal minority that have been causing trouble and stirring up the controversy over the incident at the wax museum, we can only assume that Minaj has a pretty much identical attitude towards all of them as well.
After all, she’s not one to submit to her fans’ more ridiculous desires, and she’s definitely a performer who’s had her fair share of people with unreasonable requests among her fan base. She’s one of the performers to always keep a level head even in the middle of serious controversies around her though, so most of her fans expected her to react in a similar way to the whole wax museum situation, and many were apparently quite pleased with the way she chose to handle the situation in the end.
Meek Mill, Minaj’s current boyfriend, has apparently been one of the people making negative comments about the situation with everyone posing next to her at the wax museum in such lewd ways, but Minaj also had some reassuring words for him, letting him know that he has nothing to worry about and that she’s fine with the whole situation.
Meek Mill hasn’t made any further comments since then so we assume that he’s also accepted the situation for what it is, but we don’t know if there could be any conflicts between them in the background behind the scenes. It’s entirely possible that they might see things differently here and there could be some serious disagreement between them on the whole thing, but they are also a couple of professional entertainers who know how to keep these things to themselves when they should.
