It’s not the first time that Miley Cyrus has been criticized for expressing an apparently ignorant look towards the music industry and the situation of black performers in it, and the controversy surrounding her actually dates about two years back already.
Because of this, we don’t know if Cyrus is going to be that vocal in her future statements, as her managers would probably have a thing or two to say about the way she’s handling her public image. After all, forced controversy generally works and that’s true, but it only works up until a certain point after which it can actually become detrimental.
And being so young, Cyrus probably doesn’t realize the full extent of the consequences she’ll face for the way she presents herself to the world, and how that could impact her career in the future.
But there’s probably still some time left in her public image and her managers aren’t going to let her go that easily, so we’ll likely hear about a readjustment to her personality here and there, and she’ll eventually come out with a new appearance to the public. Whether or not that’s actually going to work with regards to impressing her fans and the public in general, we don’t know – but it does seem to be something that she needs to do soon.
