Overall, the song described their tumultuous relationship with alleged cheating and disrespect. Minaj reacted to Twitter about the song and said she took Samuels to fame and fortune and added that these dudes leave their girls in the hood. Minaj also threatened to drop the bomb on his ex-boyfriend when she said that he should tell people the truth or he will be doomed.
The female rapper also told Samuels to stop the pity party and live his own life. Minaj, however, ended her response to Samuels in a classy way when she said that they are both real MVP for managing to work on a 12-year relationship when they are both young. Minaj added that things got rocky in the end, but it was a great run.
