Popularity and versatility have not gotten into the head of “Dance Moms” star Nia Sioux Frazier, contrary to rumors that her expanding talent repertoire have opened up more opportunities for her that she and her mom are already thinking of leaving the show.
Nia and her mom Holly have taken the brunt of the most of the anger of show star Abby Lee Miller over rumors that they are leaving “Dance Moms” soon, reports the Inquisitr.
Nia officially quashed the rumors about her and mom going separate ways with the American reality TV series and star Abby Lee Miller by posting on her Instagram recently that she is committed to be with “Dance Moms.”
She confirmed that she and her mom are not leaving the show and that she is not leaving her fans. Nia’s post immediately earned 40,000 likes in just a few short hours after it was posted, with most of her fans expressing a sigh of relief that the talented star of “Dance Moms” will stay in the show.
Returning in June
“Dance Moms” will return with the rest of its Season 5 episodes on the Lifetime network in June. The show is currently airing its Australian tour specials this month.
The first part of “Dance Moms” Australia tour aired on May 19 and the second part will be airing on May 26. Fans will have to wait two more weeks before the rest of the episodes of Season 5 starts airing again on June 9.
It is expected that speculations about potential departures by cast members will continue to proliferate with the airing of the rest of Season 5. But at this point, it is pretty much sure that Nia and her mom Holly will be staying put and coming back to “Dance Moms” for its Season 6 next year.
Shabby treatment
It has been rumored that Abby has been shabbily treating Nia and her mom because the young star has been focusing on her music video and singing aspirations instead of dancing, which was what “Dance Moms” is all about.
The rumors grew louder especially when fans noted that the Fraziers were not with the rest of the “Dance Moms” cast during the group’s recent appearances. Speculations then started swirling that the mother-and-daughter team may be leaving the show as a result.
The buzz further built up when “Dance Moms” began its tour. While Maddie, MacKenzie, Kendall and Kalani were frequently seen together or doing events in Ireland and Australia, it has been noticeable that JoJo, Siwa, and Nia were not part of the entourage. The two girls were in Australia but the spoilers of “Dance Moms” were not involved in the scheduled group activities.
After the recent departure of fan favorites like Chloe Lukasiak, Brooke Hyland, and Paige Hyland, numerous fans of “Dance Moms” become worried that Nia and Holly might go next.

I think that Nia should leave Dance Moms and move on. She has taken the abuse from Abby way to long. She is such a better dancer than Abby gives her credit for. She should have won a lot of her dances and Abby does not give her good enough dances to win. She likes to talk down to her and she likes to plan her dances that point out things that hurt Nia. Nia and her video is Amazing and she needs to do more. I am so, so, glad that her mom got somebody else to do her video instead of Abby. Way to go Nia. Abby is crazy and she needs help really bad. Her attitude toward the kids and the parents are sad. She only cares about Maddie and that is it.
I’m lovin everything about the beautiful teen. Abby needs to leave her alone because this teen should not have to be the grown ups one.. Taam Nia 1000 percent.
Personally i think Abby is an evil woman. Every episode she encourage and embrace the other girls, with Nia its like she has no faith in her dancing abilities. I understand that this is a show about dance but really, we see a bullshit pyramid with the same predictable people on the top. We have moms who are embarrasing themselves just for the sake of tv, and Abby isnt teaching the girls anything of value other than you have to be HER favorite. She’s not introducing them to prestigious dance companies, she not teaching them the understanding of team work. Abby needs to back out of the tv world because she’s not making her brand any better. And to Nia i really do advise her to move on!!!! Go to a different dance company! Continue to persue your singing career and your dancing. You have way more to offer than to always have to stand up to a maniacal female…lets not call that a woman. Further your dance knowledge and abilities and be happy with who you are and what you do
