Meanwhile, Final Fantasy XV hasn’t finished the opening of the first chapter of this game. The opening scene will put the player in what seems to be the flash-forward’s throne room. It will be occupied by Noctis’ father, who is also the king.
He provides a royal quest for Noctis and his buddies. The quest is to deliver Noctis to his nuptials, to be held in a kingdom nearby. The game features a classic RPG opener. It has been used in titles like Dragon Quest, King’s Quest, Final Fantasy, Ultima and some other titles.
This kind of approach is beneficial since it leaves no doubt regarding what is going on. This wasn’t the usual case with the most recent titles in this series.
After the four protagonists take their leave, they find that they have gotten entangled in the most boring of buddy-movie enigmas. After that, their car breaks down. They meet Cid and his granddaughter Cindy in a gas station. Thus begins the tale of killing monsters and levelling up.
