New York Rumored as another Possibility for Fallout 4 Setting, Game Could Include Race Choices!

The rumors about where “Fallout 4” is going to be set now include New York as a possible location, though we still don’t have any official information about the game. We have no idea if it’s even in production – although it’s a very slim possibility that it isn’t at this point – nor when Bethesda might be planning to announce it. One of the most actively speculated details about the new title is its location – fans are eager to find out where the next “Fallout” will be set, but so far there are many different possibilities.

Recently, Erik Todd Dellums, who provided the voice of Three Dog in “Fallout 3”, said that he’s working on something that fans of the franchise will love. We still don’t know what he meant – he could have easily been referring to a personal project of his own, and not something done by Bethesda themselves – but his announcement certainly managed to make many fans excited, and they have been keeping an eye on his social channels.

Of course, if he’s actually working on the next “Fallout” game, he would likely not be able to say much about it publicly due to contractual obligations, so it’s hard to say. There have also been rumors surrounding the situation that Bethesda are going to reveal some major differences about “Fallout 4”, and it’s going to be something that fans will have to adapt to, but we aren’t sure what this could be about.

Other recent rumors about “Fallout 4” indicate that the game might give players the option to choose their race. This would be a new thing for the single player of the franchise, as the player character has always traditionally been human. However, “Fallout: Tactics” gave players the option to pick different races in its multiplayer component, and that went well.

If this idea is implemented into a single-player “Fallout” game though, it could bring some problems – the writers would have to accommodate for the player’s choice in certain areas, and make sure that their race doesn’t interfere with the way the story is being presented at that moment. There are definitely ways to solve that problem of course, and the writers of “Fallout” are among the most creative professionals in this field, so we have trust in them to pull this off properly, if they really are implementing this idea.

Now, we can just keep waiting for Bethesda to finally say something about the title after all this type. It would be disappointing if the studio decides to just keep quiet for the rest of the year, as they should at least give their fans some hints to put their minds at rest.
