Game developer Supercell has released an update on the widely-popular mobile video game “Clash of Clans” that provides a unique feature which enables users to bookmark up to 30 clans at a time.
Bookmarking clans is very effective in the “Clash of Clans” video game when players want to remember the different clans they want to attack in the future, cutting down the time for searching for new clans to challenge after their initial war resources have been depleted.
The bookmarking feature comes with the Version 7.65 of “Clash of Clans” which is officially called the Air Sweeper.
And as usual, the update also comes with bug fixes that gamers and fans have previously reported. Supercell assured them that the new patch already addresses the bugs, issues, and other problems that were brought to their attention.
The new update also gives gamers a preview of their own armies before attacking, which was not available previously. It will also allow them to change the names of their respective clans for one last time. After the change in name, the account will be locked to that name the rest of the way.
Looting ability
Majority of gamers have also asked Supercell to add the looting ability feature to the game which they believe is useful.
“Clash of Clans” thrives because of the excitement it brings to gamers after successfully defeating other clans despite limited resources. Fans think that if they are given the looting ability in the game, they can move on to battle other clans.
Supercell has previously launched an update on redecorating the expensive Elixir wall, where gamers spend a lot of money on it thereby leaving them hardly anything in as far as provision of resources for the troops.
Fans and gamers believe that looting in the game will give them a good option to gain more in-game money and resources aside from fighting other clans of course.
In response to the clamor of gamers, Supercell decided to update its rule by preventing a player from using the Elixir wall until they reach level 8 or above. Even though this rule was only implemented recently, it actually gave users a different goal to gain experience points.
Supercell wants to redirect the gamers’ attention from just looting to going back to the basics of “Clash of Clans” which is about clashes and fighting. The developer has also come up with an update to prevent its gamers from dumping their trophies from past victories.
Removing money tension
To lessen the tension of the need for money to the clans, Supercell also added the “Clan Wars” feature where the clans will fight in a group combat together. The update provides the users an access to the Clan Castle, which is a very expensive infrastructure that they can use to call on other clan members and help them in the fight.
