New Spoilers and Updates for Scandal Season 6, How Will the Major Power Shift Take Place? Let’s See

Season 6 of Scandal will start in 2017 January and fans are eagerly waiting for the outcome of the presidential election. There isn’t a lot that came out of the teaser, but that didn’t stop the fans from speculating to a great extent.

Fans are very excited about Season 6 and the seventh season was announced in the form of a Christmas gift. Shonda Rhimes made the announcement for ABC. TV Guide reports that the sixth season will readily jump into the election. Even though the teaser doesn’t reveal a lot, it could mean that Mellie ends up losing and Liv wishes to rig another election.

In the premiere, it seems like a cabin exploded and someone will end up getting badly hurt. We don’t know who it is yet. From the looks of it, Jake will get a new wife. The wife will be his old one, but reports indicate that a new actor will be playing her.

Joelle Carter has a conflict with Chicago Justice of NBC, and she is a regular in that. However, Season 6 will be reduced to 16 episodes, but that doesn’t mean in any way that the drama will not be enough for the spectators to stay entertained.

Shonda Rhimes, the creator, is keeping the business firm in the family, as reported by E Online. She will introduce Zoe Perry, her daughter, in the show but what character she will be playing is still unknown. Reports suggest that she won’t be the only new face in the show as the actress replacing Joelle Carter as the wife of Jake, will be Jessalyn Gosling.

Fans are dying to know about the results of the election and Season 6 will jump right into it, but the show will also feature a change in the balance of power. The explosion in the cabin will hurt someone badly.

The explosion might even result in the death of a character. Some of the characters might die, but new faces are appearing including Zoe Perry. Her role remains a secret and fans need to wait and watch the upcoming season to figure it all out.

Season 6 of Scandal will release on 19th January 2017. Meanwhile, by the time 19th January sets in, 252 days will have passed since the last time Scandal was seen on TV screens. The last time Olivia Pope and Co. were seen, Cyrus was named by Vargas as his running mate.

In the meantime, Jake was tapped by Mellie for her ticket. Rowan very much wanted the latter so that Liv could come back to the White House. However, will she return? According to the official reports, Season 6 will skip directly into the Election night, and it’s a good thing because we are in no shape to handle yet another election cycle at the moment.

The results are being kept under wraps, but you can surely go ahead and watch the trailer. Liv is told by Mellie that she is done running for president. Liv says that she isn’t.

Scandal Season 6

Could it indicate that Mellie lost and Liv wishes to rig another election or did actually win, and Liv has come up with some sinister plan? The tagline reads that the balance of power is about to shift.

If you noticed the cabin explode in the trailer, you’d understand that the premiere is pretty explosive. There is also a chance of Liv strafing through a hospital, and Abby is getting into a hospital room.

We can put two plus two together and assume that somebody was in that particular cabin. The question is, who was it?
