With that in mind, the recent move to take DiNozzo’s character out of the equation could make a lot of sense. But according to recent reports, it’s far from the only change that’s coming for the next season.
Gary Glasberg, one of the main people behind the show, has expressed optimism for the future, claiming that the crew is currently trying to push things forward and keep their fans entertained. Everyone behind the scenes is obviously aware of the huge controversy surrounding the departure of DiNozzo, but it does sound like the showrunners are one step ahead and have planned everything very carefully.
What can fans expect from season 14, with all that in mind? “Change” seems to be the keyword here, but it was also implied that we could see the show returning to its roots and exploring the kinds of plot developments that got so many people hooked on it in the first place.
