The first episode of Season 13 is aptly titled “Stop the Bleeding,” obviously in reference to the condition of Gibbs. Aside from Jon Cryer, other guest stars of the show include Muse Watson as Mike Franks, Daniel Zolghadri as Luke Harris, Giles Matthey as Daniel Budd, David Andrews as U.S. Secretary of Defense Errol Coyne, Adetokumboh McCormack as Matthew Rousseau, Kenny Leu as CIA Officer Kenny Young, Hector Hugo as Navy Commander Fred Lewis, Katie Roberts as Navy Surgical Tech Ensign Joni Ryan, Mila Brener as Kelly Gibbs, Kent Shocknek as ZNN News Reporter Guy Ross, and Donnabella Mortel as a navy corpsman.
Michael Weatherly adds that there will be some fundamental shifting in the sands of “NCIS” because Season 13 will be about digging stuff up.
He said that he hopes Gibbs will find a new reason in his life after seeing Tony progress with his own life, adding that this is the year that Tony and Leroy will subvert expectation.
Weatherly explained that his character has been waiting for something all this time and he believes that it will finally come and viewers will figure it out in Season 13.
DiNozzo and Gibbs will reportedly start Season 13 at odds as the NCIS leader recovers from his injuries while Tony momentarily takes over his chores and be the team leader again.
After watching Gibbs spending much of his last 15 years alone, it could actually lead Tony to think that he might end up the same way too, which he certainly does not want to.
