Latino Post reports that Gibbs will continue working hard and pushing himself, despite being under recovery from the traumatic incident. Showrunner Gary Glasberg confirms that the agent will continue to work with Jon Cryer’s Dr. Taft.
During episode 8 last week, fans saw Gibbs go through some physical difficulties that was probably due to the surgery he underwent after he was shot. His sudden collapse prompted the return of Dr. Taft.
There will be some significant cases that will connect him with FBI agent Fornell, played by Joe Spano, and will take him on a more significant journey during the second half of the season.
The next episode will also see Pat Harvey and Tug Coker as guest stars. They will be playing as a ZNN reporter and Assistant State’s Attorney Alan Wyner, respectively.
Meanwhile, the upcoming Thanksgiving-themed episode of the series will feature Bishop’s mom Barbara, portrayed by the original “Bionic Woman” star Lindsay Wagner. Bishop’s dad, George, will be played by Ryan Doom.
The special episode titled “Blood Brothers” will find the crew being called upon by the Secretary of the Navy to help a leukemia-stricken sailor locate a bone marrow transplant donor after his two Marine siblings met their deaths in the line of duty. Patricia Bethune will also guest star as Paulette Quinn Grantham Coleman in episode 10.
