NBA 2K17 Latest Patch Makes Over-Dribbling Prior to Shots to Have Lesser Field Goal Percentages

Patch 1.06 also included a corrected Hornets home court. The fix on indefinite simulating screen during the MyPlayer mode was added. When a MyTeam Card was up for auction, the player will not see it on his list anymore.

Several other gameplay issues in “NBA 2K17” have been fixed by Patch 1.06 such as aggressive bump pack dribble collisions. The issue regarding unrealistic speed was also fixed. The broadcasts on the Mavericks, Bucks, Kings, and Clippers have likewise been updated.

Improvements on performance to strengthen the Pro-AM experience are added. The players will not experience any hang-ups when they are attempting to jump from one park to another.

And finally, players can choose to remove the skateboard and mascot outfits from their MyPlayer mode.

It should be noted by gamers that many of the issues addressed by Patch 1.06 were tweaks as opposed to full-on overhauls, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t appreciated by the “NBA 2K17” community.

The reaction to the updates has been mostly positive. As for remaining issues that were not fixed, a popular animation glitch called ‘speed boosting’ remains intact. Similar cheesy methods for easy steals in MyPark are also unresolved.

At the very least, at least MyPark is far less exploitable than before. With Patch 1.06, the next step is for 2K to patch out the remaining issues through server-side adjustments.
