Cover for ‘NBA 2K17’

While the NBA 2016-17 season is still months away, 2K Sports has already revealed early this month the cover for the upcoming iteration of the basketball simulation video game, “NBA 2K17.”

The cover shall have the Black Mamba, Kobe Bryant, who just played his last game and retired from the NBA at the close of the regular season early this month.

Apparently, the Legend Edition of “NBA 2K17” will cost $80 but it will come with plenty of bonuses to make the purchase for gamers really worth it. Among the bonuses are two Kobe Bryant trading cards, a limited-edition poster, 30,000 virtual currency, a MyTeam bundle, and much more.

There is also an added bonus for Amazon Prime members as they can get 20% discount of the Legend Edition of the game and receive it for just $64 or just four dollars more than the Standard Edition of “NBA 2K17.”

2K Sports has yet to announce the release date for “NBA 2K17” but it is likely to happen before the next regular season of the NBA so September to October is likely.

Discount on ‘NBA 2K16’

The next basketball simulation video game from game developer 2K Sports, “NBA 2K17,” may still be months away from its official release date but the retail prices of “NBA 2K16” has gone down on both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One because of a weekly special sale on selected game titles.

Beginning in February, the North American PlayStation Store has offered major discounts on “NBA 2K16” and its various editions for the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 3, the PS Vita, and even PSP titles.

But “NBA 2K16” is not the only high-profile video game that got major price off. Other games like “Deadpool,” “Trials Fusion,” “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six,” “Citizens of Earth,” Toy Soldiers War Chest,” among several more also had their prices slashed for as high as 50%.

Not to be outdone, Microsoft’s ‘Deals with Gold’ has also offered major discounts on “NBA 2K16” for its gaming consoles – the Xbox One and the Xbox 360.

Some of the most notable games that were included in the ‘Deals with Gold’ promo included also “Deadpool,” “Mortal Kombat X,” World of Tanks,” “Dragon Ball Z,” among many others.

Interestingly, the discounts on the two editions of “NBA 2K16” and its add-ons were exactly the same that was offered by the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s ‘Deals with Gold.’
