‘NBA 2K16’ New Locker Codes Also Bring Marvel-Themed Jerseys to the Game!

The latest locker codes to the basketball simulation video game “NBA 2K16” released last month gave gamers the opportunity to bring NBA superstar greats like Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, Larry Bird, Isaiah Thomas, and Shaquille O’Neal to the game.

They can also get the opportunity to get current NBA sensation LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Paul George of the Indiana Pacers.

Once the players have obtained the locker codes, they can just use it to go to Options and then click on Features before clicking on Locker Codes.

In addition to the NBA greats, one of the new locker codes shall reportedly bring to the players reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry of the defending champion and league-leading Golden State Warriors.

Those incentives are really great for the NBA fanatics and enthusiasts but since game developer Visual Concepts and publisher 2K Sports want to cover the entire spectrum of “NBA 2K16” gamers, the new locker codes to the basketball simulation video game can also bring Marvel-themed apparels for the playable characters of gamers, reports the Christian Post.

Apparently, jerseys with the logos of Marvel Avenger superheroes like Captain America, Spider-Man, and Hydra are available via the MyPlayer mode.

Season Swishes

There is a locker code that shall open the so-called Season Swishes that shall bring Christmas jerseys to gamers. However, those uniforms can only be used by gamers in the Play Now and Online Games modes.

Any current modes in progress like MyLeague, MyCareer, and MyGM will not include the special Christmas jerseys.

Gamers also have the opportunity to put on the new Nike Kyrie 2 signature basketball shoes and try several edition jerseys as well, notes the Latinos Post.

The fourth patch for “NBA 2K16” came in December 2015 and it provided adjustments to the overall gameplay as well as in the MyLeague and MyCareer modes.

The new patch has a file size of 2.4GB on the PlayStation 4 and was meant to fix a reported lag when putting and editing tattoos on characters. The patch is also supposed to fix a PC issue with the possession camera in the 2K cam.

It will work with existing game mode saves. Should there be additional problems or issues on the game even after the release of the latest patch, game developer Visual Concepts and publisher 2K Sports are sure to release a new one in the near future.

Special locker codes

Two special locker codes were also released last month featuring the Limited Amethyst Brian Scalabrine and one for the Limited Edition Stephen Curry.

2K Sports has been encouraging players to send their feedback regarding the gameplay or any bugs that they come across with while playing as well as possible suggestions for improvements to make the game even better.

It is also expected that the game developer should release a roster update to “NBA 2K16” this January which shall update the ratings and attributes of existing NBA players in the video game.

About a month after its official release, “NBA 2K16” went on to become the second best-selling video game in the US, next only to the Xbox One-exclusive “Halo 5: Guardians,” according to the report of the NPD Group.

The predecessor game of “NBA 2K16”, the “NBA 2K15,” was the top-selling video game in October 2014 so the current game experienced a one-rank slide last year.

Rounding up the top 5 best-selling video games for October 2015 were “Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate,” “Madden NFL 16,” and “WWE 2K16.”

The NPD Group also reported that software sales in October 2015 were down 3% compared to the year-ago period, which also reflects the 42% decline in portable sales.

According to an analyst, one of the reasons for the decrease in October’s new physical sales was the 4% drop in dollar sales for new launches.
