‘NBA 2K16’ Latest Locker Codes Keep the Game Exciting and Addicting to Gamers Despite Impending Arrival of NBA 2K17

In addition to the recent roster updates on the basketball simulation game “NBA 2K16,” the latest locker codes have also kept the game very exciting and still addicting to many gamers.

The latest locker codes have brought in additional Virtual Currency or VC and other special items for players. The new codes give gamers 500 and 1,000 Virtual Currency points.

The free items, meanwhile, include a TV Melo gear and an aircraft carrier. There is also a locker code that shall enable a gamer to play ABA ball when playing “NBA 2K16.”

So despite the pronouncements of the impending arrival of “NBA 2K17,” the gamers get preoccupied with “NBA 2K16” and still keeps them addicted and certainly satisfied with the current version of the game, developed by 2K Games, reports Hall of Fame Magazine.

Minor glitches

However, there are also reports saying that the reason why 2K Games still keeps on releasing updates to “NBA 2K16” despite the impending arrival of “NBA 2K17” is because the current game is always getting bugged.

But 2K Games assured players that those bug reports are just minor problems. The game developer also gave an assurance that a development team is now working on “NBA 2K17” and that the game is progressing according to plan and schedule.

According to latest speculation, the upcoming “NBA 2K17” shall have a better face scan signature animation and locker codes.

It added that smart users will be able to use the face scan application, which was already featured in “NBA 2K16.”

There are also reports saying that the No. 1 draft pick, forward Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers has already played “NBA 2K17.

Delayed release date

On the flipside, there are also rumors saying that the release date of the “NBA 2K17” might be delayed but it has yet to be confirmed by 2K Games.

2K Games must have its hands full with the nearly crazy movements in this year’s summer free agency in the National Basketball Association (NBA) in relation to making its latest roster update to “NBA 2K16.”

Aside from the transfer of Kevin Durant from the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Golden State Warriors, there have been other major movements since the free agency began on July 1.

Among the major movements after Kevin Durant’s golden move to the Warriors include the move of Al Horford from the Atlanta Hawks to the Boston Celtics, the transfer of Derrick Rose from the Chicago Bulls to the New York Knicks, the signing of Joe Johnson with the Utah Jazz, the signing of Pau Gasol with the San Antonio Spurs from the Chicago Bulls, and the reported transfer of Dwyane Wade from the Miami Heat to the Chicago Bulls.

Of course, there are hundreds of player movements that somehow shook up the NBA roster all the more.

The last roster update made by 2K Games in the NBA was during the NBA Finals that lasted until June 22 so the complete roll of rosters for each team is now very different.

Even the 2015-16 NBA Champion, the Cleveland Cavaliers lost two players in their lineup including Matthew Dellavedova to the Milwaukee Bucks and Timothy Mozgov to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The challenge for 2K Games is to wait it out until the free agency market is officially closed within the month before it makes the complete roster update.

If any, it would also be good for the developer because they can still use the updated roster when it migrates it to the next iteration of the basketball simulation video game, the “NBA 2K17” which would be released on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One reportedly on September 20.

One key important roster update is the change in the Western powerhouse team of San Antonio Spurs because of the retirement of legend Tim Duncan just a few weeks ago.
