‘NBA 2K16’ Becomes the PlayStation 4 Free Game this June; Gamers Thrilled With the Promo Offer!

As part of the Microsoft promotions for “NBA 2K16,” 2K Games offered the video game for a discount if the players were able to buy the game digitally via the Xbox Live Marketplace.

2K Games has been seriously promoting the game since the NBA Playoffs began in April. It also promised that the game will be inclusive of the 12 new legendary teams including the 2000-2001 Los Angeles Lakers and the 2007-08 Boston Celtics.

Incidentally, Sony already announced late in May the possibility of the “NBA 2K16” becoming one of the free games that it shall be offering to its PlayStation Plus subscribers in June.

PlayStation Plus subscribers got excited back then upon learning of rumors that “NBA 2K16” and “Gone Home” might well be on the roster of their free games in June.

Accordingly, the leak came from a newsletter of PlayStation which Sony send blasts to its users. Many believe that there could have been some glitch in the source code that allowed for the list of June’s free games to be released early.

Both “NBA 2K16” and “Gone Home” have never been offered in the PlayStation Plus so the excitement that it generated from fans certainly have a good leg to stand on.
