Freq already has his own backstory already in the MyCareer mode of “NBA 2K16” so the fun of creating one’s story and career have all been overrun, which only turned off a lot of gamers.
In fact, it is for this reason that many gamers have actually decided to stick with playing “NBA 2K15” at least for the MyCareer mode because it simply is better than the current version made by the critically-acclaimed writer, producer, and director Spike Lee.
While critics are not taking away the genius in Spike Lee for creating “Livin’ Da Dream,” they simply find it overbearing especially the part where the players have to watch its intro for a full six hours, which is good as watching three full-length films already.
However, when the NBA 2015-16 Season began, gamers started forgetting about the MyCareer mode and instead focused on the “NBA 2K16” league proper itself because that is where the major excitement of the basketball simulation game lies.
That’s in addition to the fact that the league mirrors the video game itself so any player or team changes happening within the season in the actual league, “NBA 2K16” would likely follow suit through updates.
