‘NBA 2K15’ Gamers on PlayStation Get the Opportunity to Play Versus NBA 2014-15 Regular Season MVP Stephen Curry

In honor of the ongoing conference finals in the NBA, basketball simulation video game “NBA 2K15” is giving PlayStation gamers the chance to win a contest and allow them to play a game versus reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry.

Interested gamers just need to purchase the PlayStation Heroes Basketball X’s and O’s Silver Theme for $5 on the PlayStation Store and they shall automatically be entered into the contest that will give them a crack to play against half of the NBA’s Splash Brothers, notes Latin Post.

Fans and gamers should be happy to know also that there is a social component to the offer as 90% of the proceeds from the sale of the PlayStation Heroes Basketball X’s and O’s Silver Theme shall be given back to the United States Organization, Inc. or USO.

The contest shall run until June 9 and all other details are provided on the PlayStation Store website.

New MyTeam packs

The developer of the “NBA 2K15” has also released on May 21 new MyTeam packs that include two Houston Rockets’ legends – the 1981-82 Moses Malone and the 2003-04 Sam Cassell.

There is also a Ruby Eraser Card Pack being offered featuring Ruby Robert Parrish, Yao Ming, Alonzo Mourning, Dikembe Mutombo, Shaquille O’Neal, Patrick Ewing, David Robinson, and Sapphire Hakeem Olajuwon.

In a related development Ronnie 2K, the unofficial social media guru of the “NBA 2K15,” has been known to offer Locker Codes and special items for the game.

On May 22, Ronnie2K revealed that there will be more ‘Ruby Erasers’ that will be coming to the game on May 23. He even conducted a random survey among his Twitter followers which NBA players should be included in the card packs.

Regular updates

One of the key features of “NBA 2K15” is its ability to constantly provide regular update patches that often brings roster changes and gameplay tweaks and improvements.

The updates also bring forth locker codes, attribute and accessory improvements, and bug fixes. More than gameplay improvements, these regular roster updates is what makes the “NBA 2K15” very dynamic and almost similar to the league itself.
