“NBA 2K15” is still alive and well, with ongoing support from 2K Sports who continue to release new locker codes and cheats for the game. This is an important part of progressing in the title, as players who don’t use these promotional codes regularly will see a much slower pace of attaining the important in-game currency, plus codes also contain special exclusive content from time to time.
Last month, we got a 20% discount for players to see locker codes, and now we have a few new fresh codes to use as well. The code #TH1S1SME70 unlocks a Pink Diamond Melo (Carmello Anthony), while we already saw a Pink Diamond Isiah Thomas locker code as a time-limited offer. Players who missed that deal should keep an eye on the NBA2KCast, as 2K Games have revealed that they are going to give a second chance and reveal a code during that event.
It’s not clear how that will proceed exactly, but it will most likely be done by Ronnie2K on Twitter as usual, who might give away codes while the stream is running. Players should watch both the stream as well as the Twitter feed in order to maximize their chances of getting a code, but of course we expect the codes to be actively shared on various social media outlets immediately as they become available as well.
Players should also keep in mind that codes keep expiring all the time, so even the ones we’re providing in this article might not be valid at this point. That’s part of the “meta game” of “NBA 2K15”, looking for new codes around the Web and keeping an eye out on important media channels that tend to distribute new codes regularly.
There are several codes that provide 5000 VC points as a one-time boost, but some have already been reported to not work, so players should be patient and go through the whole list if they’re interested in that extra cash injection. The codes are:
“OKFORNBA2K”
“KEEPONPLAYIN”
“ASMOOTHMOVE”
“GIVETHATGUYAFINE”
“MY2K15VALENINTE”
“THERAINMAKER”
There are also cheats that can activate special items in the career mode, such as “BETWEENTHELEGS”, which gives players a random shoe reward, and “ALLSTARMVP”, which provides new all-star merchandise. There’s also the code “THEROOFISONFIRE” which grants bonus skill points, and “NOIINTHEWORDTEAM” gives 20 contracts right away.
More codes are expected to be released soon, and of course players can always boost their progress through more standard means as well, such as playing the career mode and advancing their characters. As we said above though, the game is designed in a way that somewhat expects players to make regular use of these codes in order to get the optimal experience, which makes it important to know where to find them.
The developers of the game regularly release new codes and sometimes try to promote specific online venues by releasing codes through them, so a player interested in getting the most out of their playtime should keep an eye out on the most prominent social media channels associated with 2K Games, such as their Twitter feeds and the regular streaming events related to the game. Some media publications also release codes that they’ve been granted by 2K exclusively, and it’s a good idea to subscribe to some of them, at least the ones that have proven to be more prominent in the past. In the end though, talking to other players is one of the best ways to quickly stay in touch with all the recently released codes.
