Ecumenical News reports that the teenage country sensation may have her daughter Cadence back after checking out of rehab, but her husband, Avery, played by Jonathan Jackson, has other things in mind.
During the midseason finale, Kourtney Hansen’s Emily visited Juliette in rehab and convinces Avery to visit her to see that she has changed a lot. Avery in turn, tells Emily that she is just using her to get to him.
Apparently, Avery had already met someone that will cause him to push through with the divorce.

As to who will Avery be smitten with, TV Line revealed that Boardwalk Empire’s Meg Steedle will join the cast. Her character still hasn’t revealed her name, but she is described as a charming single mother whom Avery will have an instant attraction to.
