Nashville Season 3 Coming To A Very Dramatic End!

Nashville is a dramatic series that airs on American television and has become quite popular over the last three seasons. The show centers around two country singers, played by Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere. The third season started last September and is about to come to an end around the middle of next month. Back in May of last year, Nashville Season 3 was announced by ABC. The news finally came for fans of the show as they waited to hear how long the show was going to be.

ABC renewed the series after negotiations were prolonged as they decided how many episodes to order. In the end, Nashville Season 3 was ordered for 22 episodes. According to reports, the show is going to get $8 million less in incentives then it got for the second season. As fans waited to hear the fate of the third season, it was announced that Oliver Hudson and Will Chase might not be in all of the episodes, however they were promoted as coming back in Nashville Season 3.

The third season has been reviewed on a positive note for the most part and has brought plenty of drama as most of these types of shows normally do. The 16th through 19th episodes have aired this month already and there is plenty of drama going around as Deacon’s cancer, Juliette’s baby and the problems for Sadie surrounding her husband’s death. The show has four more episodes to air for season 3.

The show has been getting great ratings according to online sources. For Nashville Season 3, each episode has been getting around 5 million viewers each, with an addition 2 million viewers that watch on DVR after it originally aired. The highest rated episode, according to sources, was episode 1 “That’s Me Without You”, which aired in September and brought about 8.12 million total viewers. As far as a fourth season, there is now reason to think it would not be back, but ABC has not made any confirmations about that.

In a twist from the normal, the very first episode was made available on Hulu Plus and iTunes before it even aired on television on October 10th, 2012. That was considered an unusual move, but it did not hurt the ratings at all as the pilot episode brought in almost 9 million viewers. The show has been getting recognized over the years having actors and actresses nominated for awards like Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and one for favorite New TV Drama.
