Narcos Season 3 would reveal that Cali Cartel knew their business would run better if they had their influence on the politics of the country. The Medellin cartel made things difficult for themselves since they rebelled against the government and the Cali Cartel learned a valuable lesson from there.
Since Narcos Season 3 will deal primarily with the Cali Cartel, many of the old characters will be back. Damian Alcazar will be back to portray Gilberto Rodriguez Orejuela. Helmer “Pacho” Herrera will also be back for Season 3. Actor Alberto Ammann will play Herrera.
With Cali cartel getting the center-stage, a large number of new cast members will be brought in as high profile members of the Columbian drug cartel.
Narcos Season 3 is set to release in 2017. Narcos Season 4 will soon follow and executive producer, Eric Newman revealed that the fourth season would deal with the drug operations in Mexico. Season 3 of Narcos would cover the Columbian drug trade and hence the series will move to the operation in Mexico.
According to Christian Today, if the viewers want the fourth season of Narcos, the writers will willingly create a story for them based on all the research they have conducted.
