With so much attention focused on the show, they would probably be right to set their release date as precisely as possible. There is a lot to gain on the modern market from releasing a work at the exact right moment, and people will pay much more attention to this show if it’s presented to them at the right time.
But in any case, we expect that “Mr. Robot” will see a lot of success in its second season no matter when it airs, as there are so many people focused on the show now that it would be very hard for the new episodes to go by unnoticed.
There are rumors that the second season of the show is going to expand its story significantly and introduce a whole new world, but we don’t know any details of that, nor how the main character would be related to it.
Now that we know the true nature of Mr. Robot himself and his relation to Elliot, it will be much more interesting to watch the two characters interact in season 2, and we expect that the writers will include something extra to make those conversations more interesting for their fans. After all, we went through most of season 1 not knowing the truth and the show still felt exciting and fresh.
