Legend has it that the arcade is haunted and Romero’s intricate tales of the grisly events that have taken place to its former tenants make the conclusion seem more valid.
Little did viewers know that Romero’s narration and the subsequent scene actually set up the origin story of fsociety as a whole from a place known previously as Fun Society.
Apparently, it was to be Romero’s swan song as Mobley finds the former murdered in his mother’s home shortly.
Going back to the personal dilemma of Elliot, in the second episode, he was asking himself what happens if the mask becomes part of him. In the third episode, he was already hinting that the line between Mr. Robot and Elliott shall begin to blur to a point of complete fluidity.
Critics believe that the days of Elliot trying to block Mr. Robot from his mind and the picture completely seem to be coming to an end. The most interesting thing to look out for in the rest of Season 2 is how far Elliot would go to allow Mr. Robot to take over his thoughts.
Or whether he would be able to overcome Mr. Robot finally, which is unlikely given the title of the TV series.
