Motorola Droid Turbo Getting Plenty Of Attention And Discounts!

Motorola has been doing a great job of releasing smartphones that are affordable, while at the same time, very appealing to consumers on the lookout for new technology to put in their hands. Motorola released the fully customized Moto X, affordable no-contract Moto G and new versions of each over the last two years and they are now ready to release a brand new device. That device, called the Motorola Droid Turbo, is a hot seller right now and is begging for your attention.

The new phone, which was released back in October this year, is getting discounts at Best Buy and making review sites all over the internet with good marks. If you are looking for an upgrade, Best Buy wants you to buy from them and they are offering up to $150 with the purchase of the phone! If you choose the Motorola Droid Turbo with a two-year upgrade deal, you will get a $100 card on the Verizon Wireless network. If you sign up for a new two-year contract with the phone, you will get a $150 gift card.

The brand new Motorola Droid Turbo was released with a new version of the Moto X and Moto G this year. Those the phone has a similar build, there are a few differences to note. The phone comes with a 5.2-inch touch screen display that has a 1440×2560 resolution resulting in a nice 565ppi pixel density. The display is protected by the popular, scratch resistant Gorilla Glass 3 from Corning and features multi-touch capabilities. The phone is powered by Android 4.4.4 KitKat and will be getting the Android Lollipop software as well.

Inside the phone you will see that it is powered by a Snapdragon 805, quad-core processor that is clocked at 2.7GHz, which is much faster than the Moto G. The phone will come with 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal memory without a microSD card slot. The back side camera is noted as a 21MP, with dual-LED flash, autofocus and HDR features. It can also record at 2160 pixels at 24 frames per second, or you can slow it down to 30fps at 1080p resolution.

Other than the hardware, other features include Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth 4.0 support, NFC technology, GPS, DLNA, mobile hotspot support and an HTML5 browser for getting around the internet. Most of the reviews online are very positive and that includes factors like design, features and performance of the device. One of the commonly reviewed features is the 3900mAh battery that should provide more than enough charge for the entire day.

  1. Except for the fact that Motorola has this device locked down tighter than fort knox… If you want to tweak anything major the turbo is not for you. Get a lg g3 with a spare battery and lg g watch… Or nexus 6…
