All in all, everything included in “Mortal Kombat XL” makes it a great package that’s definitely worth its full price for fans of the franchise who want to get the complete experience out of the new game.
This release has been very beneficial for the franchise as a whole, as it instilled a lot of trust in fans and gave them a reason to look forward to the next games that the developer has lined up. Currently there is a lot of reason to keep this series alive, and we expect to see its developers experimenting with various interesting ideas in future releases.
The situation with the PC platform remains uncertain and problematic to many fans, but if the studio has any intentions to retain PC gamers as an audience, they are most likely already thinking of ways to improve things for them.
But if they are not able to properly develop their games for the PC, then it makes sense for them to drop the platform instead of forcing their developers to produce low-quality work that leaves fans more disappointed than anything else. It can be argued that this probably drags down the popularity of the franchise much more than the decision to stop supporting the PC for now, even though PC gamers didn’t take it well when it was announced shortly after a major sale.
