Game developer NetherRealm of the fighting video game “Mortal Kombat X” has announced the release of the final DLC character included in the first Kombat Pack. Tremor has officially come out in “Mortal Kombat X” to gamers who have previously purchased Kombat Pack. He will become available to the rest of “Mortal Kombat X” gamers as a standalone character purchase beginning on July 28.
Tremor has completed the first Kombat Pack that also included other characters including Jason Voorhees, Tanya, and the Predator.
In a recent live stream initiated by NetherRealm, Tremor was able to show to gamers his unique moves and Fatalities, notes Design & Trend.
Latest rumors about the fighting game indicate that more playable characters could be on their way to joining the game’s roster. The speculations were fuelled when the game developer broadcast the initial release of Tremor, who happens to be the last name on the list of scheduled arrivals coming via DLC to the fighting game, details Christian Today.
More playable characters on the way
NetherRealm was able to feature many of Tremor’s fighting moves and skills during the broadcast and had fans and gamers of “Mortal Kombat X” really excited for the latest playable character to come to the game.
Towards the latter part of the broadcast, NetherRealm started referring to the Kombat Pack as Kombat Pack 1, indicating that there is a Kombat Pack 2, and so on and so forth and may go on for more than four or five packs.
Initial reports said that Kombat Pack 2 may feature the characters Baraka, Sindel, Meat, and Rain. However, there may be other characters that could come in subsequent Kombat Packs including Fujin, Bo Rai Cho, Stryker, and Kabal, who only appeared in the main story’s cinematics.
In the event that the game developer did release additional DLC characters beyond the initial four in the Kombat Pack 1, it would not be the first time. NetherRealm also had a special pack that granted discounted access to its first four DLC characters. And that happened with its DC comics fighting game titled “Injustice: Gods Among Us.”
