Currently, they still have a chance to make things right, according to most people on major forums, but the trust that people have towards NetherRealm has been slowly vanishing because of problems like the current one.
We are interested in seeing where things will go next and how the situation will turn out for fans of “Mortal Kombat”, but unless the studio takes some drastic measures to address the criticisms and reassure their fans that things will be okay, we don’t really have any good expectations for the future.
Right now, some people are just annoyed that the developers only recently decided to put the game up for sale, squeezing a lot of extra money out of it, while knowing full well what their plans for the future were and what they were going to do with that title in just a few months.
