Mortal Kombat X Gets Ready for an April 2015 Reveal, Character Roster Announced!

Mortal Kombat X is one of the most highly awaited games of the New Year and new reports suggest that Warner Bros. Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios is planning on leaving the “Babalites” out of the equation this time. Further news regarding the complete roster size of the game has also released.

Initial speculations suggest that a reputed personality asked the Creative Director of NetherRealm Studios about the fate of Mortal Kombat X, following which some very interesting revelations were made. However, this could turn out to be a hoax, as no official word confirms this statement.

However, there remains a fair chance of this news turning out to be authentic as the reputed personality mentioned above is Brusk Poet, a reputed YouTuber and Creative Director Shaun Himmerick. Numerous details are yet to be included in the game, according to Brusk and the fans are getting lucky as details regarding such plans are to release soon!

According to a piece of speculation, the details could arrive as soon as January or February 2015. Gamers are hence advised to keep their eyes and ears open this New Year. However, this is not exactly a shocker as Mortal Kombat X is expected to release on 14th April, 2015. Hence, it is high time that the makers revealed a few secrets involving the game, just to keep the momentum high.

Even though the game’s design and development is far from the finish line, the character list has been drawn up and the designs have neared completion. Fans of Mortal Kombat IX must remember clearly that the game did not allow them to carry out fatal attacks while in story mode. Gamers are looking forward to this compulsion being revoked in the upcoming installment.

However, there are no confirmations regarding this aspect. Hence, we shall get back to you with more details once they are available. Initial reports also suggest that there will be no day and night cycle for the game. Hence, we believe that the makers have worked on some advanced solution for environmental interaction.

Ed Boon, one of the creators of the Mortal Kombat series, revealed that the upcoming game features 12 new characters and reintroduces 12 characters from the past, back in August this year, amidst much fanfare. Gamers will hence get to choose from 24 characters, which is a respectable figure, to be honest!
