So far, the studio has managed to develop “Final Fantasy XV” quite well with regards to implementing player feedback and ensuring that the game lives up to the expectations of its fan base. It’s one of the most popular franchises in gaming history, and there is a lot at stake for the studio, so they are likely under a lot of pressure internally.
There’s also the fact that the game’s design is being changed significantly for this installment, with some new rules implemented into its gameplay, and certain parts of the community have been skeptical towards these changes. It remains to be seen how they will be taken by players in general once the game is out.
But knowing Square Enix, these mechanics could easily change at some point before the game has been released, as the studio is very careful to ensure that their games match what their fans want from them. Even if that sometimes goes against the original intentions of the studio itself, unlike the case with some other companies in the industry.
