Modern Family Season 8 Episode 6 to See Phil Joining Jay in His Most Favorite Place of in the World

The sixth episode of Season 8 of the American mockumentary “Modern Family” on ABC, entitled “Grab It,” will be airing on November 9 as the show takes a week break from its airing schedule.

Based on its synopsis, episode 6 of “Modern Family” will show Phil, played by Ty Burrell, thinking about becoming a member in a place which Jay, played by Ed O’Neill, as his only refuge.

However, Jay would be very skeptical about Phil joining him in his most favorite place, worried that it may lose its charm if his son-in-law comes there, notes the Vine Report.

The episode will also feature Claire, played by Julie Bowen, mistakenly thinking that she has made a big impact on the life of Alex, played by Ariel Winter, as well as some of the choices she made in life.

Haley, played by Sarah Hyland, shall also be seen caring too much about what her little sister thinks of her own decisions. It can be recalled that she once dated somebody who has no plan for the future at all in the person of Dylan, played by Reid Ewing.

She also shared a moment with a man much older than her in the person of weatherman Rainer Shine, played by Nathan Fillion. Haley’s family also does not really think that her being a club promoter is a real job too. So she is certainly in the doldrums as far as her family is concerned.

A Halloween-themed episode

The fifth episode of “Modern Family” Season 8 that aired on October 26 actually featured a Halloween theme that also focused on revenge.

Mitchell dressed like a Wicked witch Ephaba while Claire appears to be a football player. On the other hand, Gloria dressed as Wonder Woman and was part of Claire’s prank as she admits responsibility for the ice cubes on the pool.

Mitchell used the occasion to get her payback from a year ago when Claire pushed him in the pool during Freeman’s party while talking to Claire.

Viewers of “Modern Family” know that Mitchell and Claire have been pranking each other during Halloween despite being grown-ups.

Mitchell got the perfect opportunity when he asked Claire for help as he adjusts the rose on his lapel. Claire falls for the trick and gets squirted with water, details Game & Guide.

Meantime, Luke throws a Halloween party in the Dunphy home, which makes Phil worried. Fortunately, Alex takes a break from school due to her mono and takes on the duty to get all emergency numbers, including the Homeland security, while Phil and Claire attend another party.

Luke’s Halloween party did not turn out the monster bash that he dreamed of and was at risk of having the worst party of the year. Sensing trouble, the rest of the Dunphy’s realized that all his party needs were a visit from Rod Skyhook, a little promotion, and some adult supervision to get it started.

Meanwhile, at the Tucker-Pritchett home, Cam faces off with his Halloween nemesis while Lily and Mitchell try to save the day and work to keep him from going to the dark side.

Breaking new grounds

The current Season 8 of “Modern Family” has broken new grounds in television when it featured in its second episode that aired on September 28 openly transgender eight-year-old child actor Jackson Millarker in a guest-starring role.

Jackson Millarker played the role of Tom, a transgender friend of Lily, played by Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.

 

He was invited over for a playdate by Lily’s parents, Cam, played by Eric Stonestreet, and Mitchell, played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson during the second episode of “Modern Family” Season 8 entitled “A Stereotypical Day.”

While the Pritchett-Tucker couple has always claimed that they were the most open, non-judgmental and supportive parents, they realized during the episode that their daughter was not after they overheard her insulting Tom.

They eventually used the situation to teach Lily a lesson about acceptance and appreciating the differences of people and their sexuality.

Cam and the Mitchell want their child to be someone who accepts all types of people the way they do.

Ryan Case, the director of “Modern Family” shared on her Instagram account before the second episode of “Modern Family” Season 8 was aired on September 28 a photo of herself with Jackson Millarker.

She described the young transgender as a wonderful person and is also one of the many reasons why she loves being part of the show.

Millarker is the latest openly transgender actor who is starting to be featured on TV today. There is also Laverne Cox from the American comedy-drama TV series on Netflix, “Orange is the New Black,” and she will also be starring soon in the upcoming CBS drama, “Doubt.”

The American musical drama TV series “Nashville” on CMT shall also be introducing transgender actress Jen Richards in a recurring role.

There is also Elliot Fletcher, who will soon be starring in the TV series “Faking It” on MTV. He previously appeared in “The Fosters.”

And then there is teen Jazz Jennings, who currently has her own show on TLC, “I Am Jazz.”
