In the meantime, Blockbuster King Tom Cruise is facing a custody battle over Suri, his daughter with ex-wife Katie Holmes. This former couple was featured in the recent edition of In Touch Weekly. Cruise and Holmes got married in 2006 and divorced around six years later, mainly due to Cruise’s fascination with the Church of Scientology.
According to recent reports, Katie Holmes is afraid that Tom Cruise might abduct Suri, and the cult-like Church of Scientology could retaliate against her as she was a ‘suppressive person’. A source for the magazine revealed that since their divorce, Katie has been trying to provide a different type of life for Suri. Presently, Tom Cruise is busy with filming movies outside the United States. As a result, after his return from an extended absence, it will spark a fight over their daughter.
In other news, Tom Cruise stepped out in front of a bus in Central London while he filmed scenes for the upcoming Mission Impossible sequel. The actor tried to cross the road without looking in both the directions, which forced the bus driver to sound his horn. The actor was promptly forced to retreat to the pavement after stepping out by mistake.
No advanced warning was provided regarding his public appearance and the road closures. As a result, the Brits appeared completely oblivious to the presence of this 52-year old actor. Meanwhile, he appeared quite relaxed, strolling around casually, in the famous Piccadilly Circus.
