Mission Impossible 5 Details Include Cast And Release Date!

At one point it might have been more of a rumor whether Mission Impossible 5 was going to be released or not, but that changed when things were all but confirmed after fans saw Tom Cruise and other cast members filming on location in Italy recently. As soon as the word got out that the cast was in Italy, the cat was out of the bag and more information about the fifth installment to the Mission Impossible series was revealed.

The movie will star Tom Cruise, of course, as IMF Agent Ethan Hunt. Tom Cruise is also listed as one of the producers, along with J.J. Abrams and David Ellison of Skydance Productions. According to online sources, filming for the new movie started back in August of last year. Along with the recent news about the movie was the expected release date. Other online sources claim that the movie is going to be released on Christmas Day this year.

Up to this point, not much other information has been said about the new movie and that has left huge gaps that fans are forced to fill with rumors and speculation. Tom Cruise was spotted taking a scuba diving course and that grew into the fact that we could see some Mission Impossible style action in an underwater scene in the fifth film. Mission Impossible has been packed with the most action that you could fit into a movie series and that is what fans are expecting this time around as well.

According to another online source, Cruise was adding to his career best stunt list by trying to scale an aircraft carrier with a helicopter flying overhead. Just those two types of scenes being painted for fans was enough to get the buzz rolling. Other than Cruise coming back for more, the remaining cast is reportedly going to include Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris and Rebecca Ferguson.
